A "Train the Trainers" event will be held on November 10-11, 2025, in collaboration with BUSİBER (Boğaziçi University Management Information Systems Cyber Security Center) and Kaspersky Academy.

This program is specifically designed for academics, teachers, research assistants, and PhD students who are currently teaching or plan to teach cybersecurity courses at universities and high schools across Türkiye.

Our Objective Our goal is to help cybersecurity instructors enrich their course materials and foster knowledge-sharing by networking with other faculty members in the field. Furthermore, we aim to support academics looking to launch new cybersecurity courses and—capacity permitting—contribute to the professional development of PhD students and research assistants, the academics of the future.

Training Focus The curriculum will cover highly relevant and critical topics, including industrial cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, and transportation sector security. Participants will gain in-depth knowledge of protection methodologies against cyber threats in industrial control systems (ICS), threat modeling, and risk assessment processes.

Program Value The primary benefit of the Train the Trainers program is enabling academic instructors to reinforce their theoretical knowledge with practical applications. The program provides a comprehensive perspective, spanning from the initial design phase to secure software development processes, with a specific focus on the demands of vital sectors like infrastructure and transportation.

Guided by expert international trainers and researchers from Kaspersky Academy, this initiative aims to significantly impact cybersecurity education and the development of Türkiye’s next generation of cybersecurity professionals. Participants will also be provided with supplementary resources to help them build more advanced course modules.

• Priority: Currently employed, full-time faculty and academic staff will be prioritized.

• Registration Deadline: November 6, 2025 (Note: Registration may close early if the class fills up).

• Capacity: Limited to 25 participants.

• Certification: A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to those who participate for the full duration. An additional Certificate of Achievement will be granted to those who pass the final exam.
