BÜSİBER (Boğaziçi University Management Information Systems Cyber Security Center) was established within the Information Systems Research Center on December 1, 2016, with the support of the Istanbul Development Agency, aiming to provide the expertise and focus required for cybersecurity.
It aims to raise awareness of cybersecurity and personal data protection from an academic perspective and to support closing the gap in trained human resources needed in our country.
We organize free cyber camps for university students and aim to increase cybersecurity resilience in both public and private sectors with cybersecurity services. The number of young people we have provided free cybersecurity training to in the summer and winter camps we have organized has exeded 1000.
Since 2017, we have been proud to create an ecosystem that can stand independently without public support by providing cybersecurity consultancy, training, and penetration testing services to ensure project sustainability.
We set out to bring a management information systems approach to cybersecurity. In today's digital world, alongside cybersecurity, the protection of intellectual properties, financial information, and company reputation has become an important part of business strategy, and cybersecurity now needs to be addressed as a business issue.
