Free Cyber Security Camps and Trainings for Students

1. We held a free cyber camp for students on 16-20 January 2017. As a result of the announcements, we received 650 applications. We did an online exam, 200 people were able to finish the exam on time. We interviewed 60 of them and selected 20 of them. We gave certificates to all participants of the 5-day training.
2. We held a free 4-day Forensic Informatics camp for new graduates between 9-12 February 2017. We received 250 applications in 10 days. We interviewed 40 successful students who took the online exam and selected 23 people.
3. On May 5-6, 2017, we provided a two-day introductory training in cyber security penetration tests in partnership with Boğaziçi University Informatics Club.
4. We held a free cyber camp for students on 10-15 July 2017. After the announcement, we received 1030 applications online. We made an online exam and 250 people got a passing grade. We selected 30 students by putting these students to the practical exam in the laboratory. We gave certificates to all participants of the 5-day training.
5. BÜSİBER also hosted free cyber security trainings for high school students between 23-25 August 2017.
6. We held a free cyber winter camp for students on 15-19 January 2018. As a result of the announcements, we received 1200 applications. As a result of the interviews made as a result of the online exam, we took the successful ones to a second exam in the laboratory environment and chose 30 of them. We gave certificates to all participants of the 5-day training.
7. We held a free cyber camp for students on 2-7 July 2018. As a result of the announcements, we received 1100 applications. As a result of the interviews made as a result of the online exam, we took the successful ones to a second exam in the laboratory environment and chose 30 of them. We gave certificates to all participants of the 5-day training. The Cyber Winter Camp was held on 14-19 January 2019 in cooperation with the Turkey Cyber Security Cluster, 1066 applications were received, and 80 students received training in our cyber camp as a result of on-line and laboratory selections.
8. On 17-19 June 2019, T.C. for more students to receive cyber security training. We organized a camp hosted by BÜSİBER in cooperation with the Turkish Cyber Security Cluster under the Presidency of Defense Industries. 350 students received training in this 3-day camp.
9. On 24-28 June 2019, we organized a free cyber camp for students on "Cyber Defense" for the first time in our country. As a result of the announcements, the subject of our camp, we received 1200 applications. We trained students in two classes of 30 students each. We gave certificates to all participants of the 5-day training.
10. On 13-17 January 2020, we organized a free cyber camp for students on "Cyber Defense" and "Critical infrastructure security", which is one of the firsts in our country. As a result of the announcements, the subject of our camp, we received 1000 applications. We trained students in two classes of 30 students each. We gave certificates to all participants of the 5-day training.
11. We held a cyber security CTF competition on February 20, 2021.
12. BÜSİBER We organized a summit called “Cyber Security with the Dimension of Social Sciences” on April 10-11-12. . Social science students, who will step into the world of cyber security technically by including ethical hacker trainings, will be able to start multi-disciplinary cyber security studies with theoretical knowledge.
13. On 20-24 September 2021, we held a free cyber camp for students with mask and vaccination measures under pandemic conditions. As a result of the announcements, we received 900 applications. We trained students in two classes of 20 people to ensure social distance. We gave certificates to all participants of the 5-day training.
14. As BÜSiBER, we will organize our 12th Camp in T.C. We held the Cyber Security Summer Camp and Conference on September 6-9, 2022 at Boğaziçi University in cooperation with the Turkish Cyber Security Cluster under the CB Defense Industry Presidency. There was a participation of 600 people.
